Gohan Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Always reliable Japanese restaurant. Good tasty food at very affordable prices in a clean and comfortable restaurant. Good service and lady owner always there is very professional with great service. Seems to have many regular customers which is always a good sign. I think the kitchen is small so be prepared to wait a little while for some dishes when the restaurant is busy, but it is worth the wait. The restaurant is located just near the top of the escalators on the second floor of Ruamchok mall. The tori tori chicken here is great ( grilled Teriyaki chicken on top of rice and egg) Tuna sahimi is another favourite of mine here. Been here to eat for lunch or dinner several times now and always leave very satisfied. Highly recommend and overall for quality of food, value and service, the best Japanese...

We went there without any expectation and ended up with feeling satisfied. We had a pork don buri, okonomiyaki and a soft shell crab maki (5 pieces). They all had a good taste. The okonomiyaki was not too sweet (I have had some that were quite sweet and I do not like it.). They also gave us two pieces of water melon at the end of the meal. The staff is nice. The parking is very easy because we can use the Raumchoke plaza parking lots. I will go back there and try their other dishes...
