We stopped at Huen Phen Restaurant 2 after a wonderful day exploring Doi Inthanon National Park. The restaurant is cute and we were one of only two tables occupied. The four front staff took turns taking care of us, in between swatting flies with flyswatters throughout the restaurant. We got 3 bowls of Khao soi gai, some omelettes, fried chicken, and some fish. Overall, I rate the Khao soi 3 out of 5, as it was very sweet for my taste. However, my husband really enjoyed his after adding a heavy dose of chilies, saying it was a top contender for all the Khao soi gais that we've tasted on this trip. Staff was friendly and the food was great. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We tried Sour Sausage grilled in banana leaf with egg, kao ngew, fried Northern pork sausage, & Tom yum kung.
