R1 Resort Rajapruek Chiangmai — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

Hi All,

I have stayed at the resort for 1 month, over this time I can only say that my experience has been fantastic for what I needed.

The pool cabin is nicely presented, with a comfortable bed and small lounge area. The bathroom is modern, clean and spacious. The cabin also includes a separate private outdoor seating area, perfect for smokers.

The pool is fantastic, especially at night..it's well lit and generally a very quiet and peaceful place to relax and unwind.

The location is what was key, being 500m down the road from my Muay Thai training facility, which gave me a short walk both before and after training. There is a 7/11 conveniently across the road and you are about a 15/20 min drive into eith Nimman or the old town.

The R1 team and staff have been amazing, the flexibility in being able to delay breakfast to suite my training schedule, to having reasonably priced delicious food and cafe offerings.

If you are after something quaint but comfortable with a home feel about it, then this place has that...

We stayed here as part of a work trip, mainly to rest and recharge. Overall, we were very impressed. The resort is small but well-equipped, with thoughtful details. Complimentary snacks like instant noodles and porridge are available 24/7. Breakfast is simple but complete, and the on-site restaurant and café serve tasty food at good prices.

The room was comfortable, well-furnished, and perfect for relaxing. Most impressive was the excellent service — every staff member was helpful, attentive, and willing to assist with our work-related needs.

Only two suggestions: • The restaurant closes a bit early (4 PM). • Walkways can be slippery during heavy rain.

Overall, great value, great location, and wonderful service....

I really enjoyed my stay at R1 Rajapruek Resort in Chiang Mai. The resort has a beautiful and unique style that creates a relaxing atmosphere. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was spotless every day — housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything clean and tidy.

The only small downside is the location, as it’s a bit away from the city center. However, with Grab available, it’s not really a problem at all and makes getting around very easy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone...
