This restaurant has very good customer service and the food comes to the table very quickly. The restaurant was air conditioned with no bugs. Starting with the tum yum soup came with 5 prawns and was very flavorful. The rice and pork were very delicious however it wasn’t very hot at the time it came to the table. The shrimp was very flavorful and came out hot with lots of seasonings. The kaoh soi was scrumptious and spicy and came with 3 prawns. The beef was very good paired with rice. The curry was hot and spicy! The fish was very good and came to the table with no bones and this definitely helped us give 5 stars! The beef and vegetables were very tasty however it was quite small. Visited May 2025 - Kang Jingjai in Chiang Mai is an absolute gem! This place quickly became one of my top food experiences in Chiang Mai, and for good reason. The food is incredibly fresh, bursting with flavour, and truly showcases authentic Thai cuisine with remarkable talent in their cooking. The absolute highlight and a must-try is the soft shell crab Pad Thai – it hit every flavour spot and was simply brilliant!

Beyond the incredible food, the service was excellent. The staff were really friendly and made a genuine effort to explain dishes to us despite a language barrier, which was so appreciated and made the experience even better.
