KOBQ is hands down the best Korean BBQ spot I’ve discovered in Chiang Mai! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and buzzing with energy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of from start to finish.

The quality of the meat was exceptional — perfectly marbled juicy pork belly, and flavorful chicken, all grilled to perfection right at our table.

The variety of banchan (side dishes) was impressive and authentically Korean, from kimchi and pickled radish to japchae and spicy cucumber — all fresh and delicious.

What really sets KOBQ apart is their attention to detail. Every dish is beautifully presented, and the sauces and marinades are bursting with flavor. They even offer a great selection of soju and Korean beers to complete the experience.

Whether you’re a Korean BBQ aficionado or a first-timer, KOBQ is an absolute must-visit. The value for money, quality of ingredients, and all-around experience are unbeatable. I’ll definitely be coming back — and bringing friends!

Don’t get the beef! I’m very disappointed with this place because it has a perfect 5 star rating. They have pork buffet and beef + pork buffet option, but trust me, just get the pork. At 699 per person, I expected the beef to be at least decent, but it was the chewiest beef I ever had. Bland and terrible. The porc was decent, and at 399 per person, it’s worth it. There is not a lot of diversity, you just get 2 cuts of pork, but they are pretty good. The sides are ok as well, but not the best I had. There was only 1 person working to do everything so the service was slow. The girls was very nice, but did not speak 1 word of english. I know it’s Thailand and I should not expect that, but in most restaurants, the servers understand at least “ice”. All in all, I will not be going back, there are much better KBBQ’s in Chiang Mai. Which is a shame because the place is clean and pretty. The beef is an absolute rip-off, so get the pork. 3/5 stars because they had Chang Unfiltered and were happy at least...

The food here is fantastic. We had the 299 baht barbecue. The meat was fresh and full of flavour and a wide selection of banchan is included, plus dipping sauces and vegetables. Along with the barbecue you get rice and jiggae, both of which were well cooked and flavoursome. Our server, Alisha, was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the food and explained the options clearly. Her service was attentive and not overbearing. She checked in to see if we needed any refills of meat, banchan and sauces and left us to enjoy the food.
