Best little ramen shop in Chiang Mai!
Found this gem on a quiet Sunday evening whilst walking around on an empty stomach. The aroma from the shop attracted us, and the hustle and bustle of the shop intrigued us. The restaurant itself is quite small, with a few seats around one large table, with additional seating in the courtyard. The area is clean and pristine, with many little shops nearby for light shopping after your meal.
You write your order on a little piece of paper with a red pen, and hand it in - as easy as that.
Now to review the food: using one word, amazing. The curry comes in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large. The medium is a round plate of around 25 diameters, with flavour packed to 100%. The curry is slow-cooked with pork bits that are so tender and melt in your mouth, with soft carrots to compliment it. The spice level is enough to give it a kick, but not too strong to where you can’t enjoy the taste. The chicken is tender and juicy, fried to a perfect crisp on the outside. The rice is perfectly fluffy and is the right amount compared to how much curry and meat you get.
I got the boiled Taiwanese dumplings, which came with a nicely seasoned pork filling, and a refreshing aftertaste from the green onions.
I could not stop coming back here. I’ve been in Chiang Mai for a week and have come back around 4 times, this surely will not be my last trip. The employees are so sweet, kind, and hardworking, rushing to make sure your order is fulfilled at an efficient pace with maximum satisfaction.
I could not recommend this place more; if you’re hungry, go for it. PS: prices are so cheap too! Small curry...
Read moreCan’t recommend highly enough. Delicious ramen, plain and simple. I ate a lot of ramen in Japan, and I don’t think this is an exact replica, but that’s honestly a good thing, because this ramen tastes incredibly similar while having its own identity.
The miso tonkatsu ramen was very flavorful - salty, but in a satisfying way (not enough to make you feel parched). They use a very lean cut of pork, which is a bit different than the fatty pork I’m used to with tonkatsu, but this worked quite well - good lean protein to compliment the meal! I also had the fried dumplings (gyoza), and they were scrumptious. They offer 3 sauces to go with them which are self-serve, and include sesame oil, miso, and shoyu (picture included). My favorite was the shoyu, but all tasted great.
I’m not sure if it’s standard or if they were being kind, but the staff also gave me a large iced tea to go with the meal (tasted to be a barley or wheat tea, very light in flavor but refreshing).
Overall, highly recommended if you’re craving some ramen around Chiang Mai. Their curry also looks fantastic, so I plan to try that the next time...

20-Dec-2017, I have tried the Yakisoba (Fried Noodle) which is pretty good as well. Here they use the ramen noodle instead of using the traditional Yakisoba noodle (fatter than ramen noodle). The taste is good and not too sweet for me.
10-Jan-2018, Let's try the beef curry ramen. I like this menu a lot. The Udon (white fat noodle) is very good and goes very well with the curry soup. It can warm your body during the winter. The beef is tender and yummy so try this menu and you will easily in love with it.
After you finish the Ramen please place the bowl and glass on...
