It’s worth to fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai just to have this wonderful meal. Out of 5 times i I’ve come to Chiang Mai. Ive visited the chef (chef O) 5 times. The knowledge about the food and how he created every dishes, it’s not only the raw materials, soul, and the knowledge, but also the consistency of deliciousness that he put in. This is my highly recommended restaurant not even in Bangkok can find this easily. Nevertheless, the mashed potatoes could be the Michelin Star for me!
The toffee pudding simply take me back to the UK. it’s created warm and homey atmosphere while the dates is added, soft and tender of the cake along with the mild sweetness of caramel is such a rare combinations. 10/10
Fettuccine truffle cream Lobster, this is how you start with a word how to cook the fettuccine, not too soft not too hard along with the exact temperature will creat perfect sticky fettuccini. The truffle cream is designed to enhance a freshness and sweetness of the Lobster. A little smell of truffle along with non greasy of cream. This is such a perfect food combination.
Crispy duck confit, is looking simply. But, the crispy from outside to inside, the light smell of garlic this makes me forget about the raspberries sauce. The raspberries sauce show how can this call a food not a dessert, sweet and sour of the raspberries but still sit on a main course side not crossing to the dessert side while small dip with the crispy duck is indescribable.
Grilled Ribeyes Steak, this is a very hard to pick choices of steak. All the curiousness, all choices are best. But this end up with normal steak menu. Nonetheless, this 1190 bath steak seems not only a grilled steak. The steak was bring on a pink salt chopping board with Cafe de Paris sauce on top of the steak, the frame brown through the rosemary branch before it hits the sauce and steak until is is ready to serve. Light salty test, little smell of rosemary, and little juicy of Cafe de Paris sauce, this makes the dish becomes speechless. This makes the ordinary steak becomes highly recommended dish!!
The Lime soda juice is not just a lime soda. Recommend!!

Read moreThis review contains no descriptions of the food or ratings of this recently opened restaurant. Rather, it asks you, dear reader, to consider the following: The master chef/owner of Sapiens was the master chef at another restaurant that, although now permanently closed, was consistently rated by thousands of patrons during its years of existence as the #1 restaurant in Chiang Mai. During that time it also appeared on lists of the top ten restaurants in Asia. So, what do you think? Different restaurants + same master chef = comparable incredible dining experiences? I have recently had the pleasure of sampling two appetizers, one soup, four entrees and one dessert with a group of friends at Sapiens and can say that my answer to this question is an unequivocal,...
