The Baragus — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I recently visited this nicely designed and decorated restaurant, and while the ambiance was great, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations.

The place was clean and hygienic, which was a plus. However, the dishes I tried weren't particularly tasty, even when I was hungry. The steak was a letdown - it wasn't tender and the meat was quite hard to chew.

The one highlight was the seafood sauce, which was delicious. But overall, I'd say the food needs improvement.

Only we three customers at lunch time yet the service comes sloooowly especially the meat . A lovely halal restaurant with relaxing background music and has rustic wood decor theme. Very friendly and patient staff. Food is tasty and priced well with portions that are not too big, but satisfying. There isn’t an english written menu but a little english is spoken by the staff so they are helpful to advise you about the different dishes.
