We arrived there around 8:50 AM and the restaurant was empty, no customer, amazingly no staff. We knocked the kitchen door after waiting for awhile. The food is clean and standard taste. Atmosphere is clean and decorated. A staff served pretty well. But, the price is off the chart. Even in classic Thai restaurants, a bowl of noodle is around 50-60 thb. Here, they charge 99 thb. This is also way high among Burmese food sellers. A cup of tea is 50 thb. At tea shops in Changklan, we can get it by 20. We also bought potatoes chips and canned beans to try. The bill was over 700 thb for 2 persons. So, this place can be for occasional gatherings and for foreigners. Read moreNice to see a new Burmese place! They just opened a few months ago so are smoothing out some rough edges. We were given 3 different menus that all had the same things in different formats. There ARE Thai script menus for Thai friends if you ask. We had 4 dishes that all complemented each other and were all quite nice. The fish paste was a bit too salty but, yeah, fish paste so, of course.
