Sizzler — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

The salad bar was very good. It had plenty of fresh ingredients to make a good salad. Also there was soup and pasta, although the only pasta topping was a tuna sauce. There were very simple small desserts included in the salad bar area. The meal that that I ordered was another story. They have two lunch specials. One is fish and one is spicy chicken. I asked for the chicken breast but without the spicy sauce and she told me that the chicken also has spiciness inside the chicken. The only way this is possible is if the chicken breast is manufactured instead of being just a natural real chicken breast. I decided to order the fish instead. The fish is about two-thirds breading and 1/3 fish. It's not really the healthiest meal as it also comes with french fries. I would come here again but I would only order a piece of beef as it's the only real thing to eat from the menu and quite honestly it is probably healthier than the fish or the chicken. I used to like Sizzler in Australia 30 years ago but they went downhill and, as far as I know, there are only a few stores left.

I have now been to one in Pattaya and another in Chiang Mai in Thailand. I only went because my friend wanted to go. My opinion of them has not improved.

Not sure what's going on with this Sizzler, but the food was a huge letdown. The salad bar was a silver lining, but that's about it. Honestly, you're probably better off finding another spot.
