I visited Zen Japanese restaurant in Central Airport. I visited during lunchtime on Friday, when Songkran began, and there were many customers. I ordered two lunch sets including mackerel and salmon for the children, as well as salmon rolls and Tendon for me and my husband. It was lunchtime when there were a lot of customers, so the food took a long time. The staff was friendly and the interior of the restaurant was clean. I got a bento box and overall the chicken was my favorite. It was fresh, juicy and slightly crispy with a lovely sweet sauce. I give that dish a solid 8. The sushi was mediocre as it was a bit dry and the salad was very fishy with all the kelp. The gyoze was also nice but a little cold. For either 600 Baht or 800 Baht you can have a selection of the finest sashimi and sushi and all the other traditional Japanese delicacies over one hour and 45 minutes timeframe.
