This American style, bbq/pastas/chowder bowls/smoked meata/pizza/Mexican/Caribbean food is by far the highest quality in Chiang Mai. Their steaks are one of the best in all of Thailand. Imported from the USA and it is noticeable. The prices are very fair. The staff was fast and polite. The manager Joe, a.k.a The Don (Jersey Italian) greatest our table with a few classic jokes of the day. The Duke's is going to be on our hit list at least two more times during this holiday trip. We highly recommend this restaurant.
There is a very comparable mountain river cafe restaurant called Zombie Cafe, also incredible food and ambiance, or Chief Weed Dispensay both nestled on the same beautiful mountain river. Visiting the Zombie cafe for lunch and The Duke's reataurant for a grand dinner was a perfect day for our group. Best...
Read moreAmerican here :) I’ve been searching high and low for 2 weeks for something that tasted like home and I’ve FINALLY found it! Everything else I found around the city just wasn’t quite right until I found Duke’s :) I had the fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes and cream gravy with broccoli and cheese, sourdough garlic toast, and a side salad with ranch. I loved every single aspect of it except for the ranch just because I had a hint of an onion flavor and I’m used to ranch back home Being made with a packet of seasoning lol. This ranch is homemade you may love it. Being from South Texas I know a cream gravy and this was absolutely spot on! If you need a meal that hits the spot, try this place! (I was too hungry and excited to take any pics lol) I got my meal from GRAB app. Next time I will go and visit the...
Read more(Updated). The Duke’s Ruamchok is a welcome addition to the growing number of restaurants north of Chiang Mai proper. This outlet is relatively new and is never busy when I visit, but the staff and food are both up to the usual high Duke’s standards. This is a great place to visit for pizza (NY and thin Chicago style crusts), burgers, salads, and notably their excellent sandwiches that cannot be easily found elsewhere in Chiang Mai. The menu is extensive and the portions are large, so while the prices are a premium to some of the competition, the value is decent. Worth checking out if you are out near...
