If there was a competition for “the most serene co- working cafe”, then Wako Bake would win hands down.
The owners have really tried to create a relaxing, Japanese inspired space where you can socialize, hold meetings, enjoy delicious food, and indulge in the beautiful surroundings.
It is located right next to The Trio Condo and is my go to address for meeting my digital nomad friends.
There’s really nothing like Wako Bake. They’ve really gone out on a limb to try and create something special. And they’ve achieved it.

One disappointment is the sandwich!! I had to take a star off. Look at the last photo. What is supposed to happen... you eat the tip and then it's just bread for the rest? I don't understand why they would make their sandwich with everything at the edge. Very strange. It was actually very tasty but we were disappointed in how it was put together.

Read moreA Japanese-influenced aesthetic cafe. Wako serves as a good hub, with quality espresso and a variety of bites. Abundance of outlets, clean restroom, attentive staff.
One thing I'm typically cautious of is the number of mosquitoes here, preferring to usually sit inside. If you'd like to be outside, it will be worth it taking bug spray with you.
The outside seating area is wheelchair ramp-accessible. No ramp exists for the inside...
