ข้าวมันไก่ป้าดา อิ่ม.อร่อย — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Passed this place one day before and I somehow memorized it. As an avid chicken rice eater I wanted to sample the local version and I must say it didn't disappoint at all.

I normally eat white or Kampung chicken, but got the trio to try em all

The rice was a ginger rice and very fragrant. The chicken were all boneless and both the white and the grilled chicken stood out. The grilled chicken was reminiscent of a soy sauce chicken. Very tasty and silky.

It was served with some coriander/cilantro and a few slices of cucumber. You also get a small bowl of consume.

They recommended different sauces for each chicken. Both the bean paste type and the chili soy were nice. Again, the sweet chili sauce and the fried chicken were my least favorite.

Service was great. Without speaking each other's language they made very clear what was what. Water is included and there's a tissue box with proper toothpicks.

Overall.. Definitely would be a regular if I was...

Good chicken rice at a cheap price. The chicken was tender and moist, rice is not as flavorful for hainanese chicken rice...
