Pad Thai - Thai Food & Drink in Chiang Rai is a true culinary gem that celebrates the vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for an incredible dining experience.
I ordered their Pad Thai, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chew, and the balance of flavors was spot on—sweet, tangy, savory, and a touch of spice. The fresh ingredients, including crunchy bean sprouts, zesty lime, and aromatic peanuts, elevated the dish to perfection. It’s clear that a lot of care and expertise goes into every plate they serve.
Beyond the Pad Thai, the menu offers a wide range of classic Thai dishes, each prepared with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The attention to detail and commitment to quality truly shine through in every bite. The drinks menu is equally impressive, featuring refreshing options that pair wonderfully with the food.
The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my visit was comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you’re a local or a traveler exploring Chiang Rai, this is a spot you simply can’t miss. Pad Thai - Thai Food & Drink is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine. I can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes. Highly...
Read moreI don't get it why this restaurant received so much praises. At first they'll serve fruits and peanut while you're looking menu, it seems that they are free. If you just eat them with no doubt, you'll finally find out that your money flies. I even had to stop myself from thinking how long had the watermelon been cut. (After our order, we didn't even heard any sound of kitchen in this tiny restaurant. How the food came to table is such a mystery.) Their food are just okay to eat, not impressive. Chicken is somehow difficult to chew and swallow. Rice is cold. However their prices are much more higher than other same-leveled restaurants in the city. Unbelievable. Here also have hygienic issues; cats and dog fool around even on chairs and tables. I just witnessed a cat chasing and biting a mouse, and soon other cat and dog joined it. It was so horrible. They also showed different attitude serving Westerners and Asians. Feeling offended. They made fault accounting, as we had left for a distance, one ran to us to ask us pay MORE....
Read moreFun little mom and pop restaurant, good food, this from a local, best pad Thai ever, and I don't even like pad Thai, very good massaman curry, maybe 25 item menu, an old couple runs it, son is there off and on, dog and cat wander about inside, three tables inside, 2 outside, no air con, beer available, quite an array of mixed drinks, usually they give a free dish of fruit for desert, one time they gave me free cashews with my beer, very limited English if son isn't there, spotty parking, OK bathroom, dog might be yapping, this is a cosy place where it is easy to feel at home, will go back more than a couple times, not on the main road, open every day I believe, I counted their open hours and I think it was 105/week,no wonder those two old people look tired all the time, but they are nice
