Typically reviews like this draw an defensive and inaccurate response from the managers/owners. It's ok, we stand by our experience as 100% accurate. Bring on the video footage (all of it unedited) . Love to prove my point. Wake up. The product is terrible, the service is below par. Location, well done.

I take no joy in writing a one star review but I feel wanna-be customers should be informed by a genuine, non-affiliated and non-biased review such as this one.

The beautifully manicured gardens and lovely decor create a cute and relaxing atmosphere by the river. Typical of FB entities with top waterside or mountain view locations, the quality of the service and FB is secondary here.

A weekend around lunch time, empty carpark and just a handful of tables occupied, most of whom were drinking cold beverages. After asking the "barista" a couple of basic coffee questions, the return blank stare made me wonder if I should risk an espresso based coffee. Watching from afar, all seemed to be in order until I received the coffee which was, in my opinion sub-standard. Poor extraction and piping hot. Yes, I understand some customers request "hot" coffee to the point of scolding, but there is a standard in hot espresso based coffees. The bean selection was fine (some local and some Colombian) and the roast dates seem to be fresh enough. Lovely top of the line espresso machine also. Such a pity to be let down a the last part of the process - making the coffee. If coffee is taken seriously here, at least train the "barista" on correct extraction and temperature control.

Menu is expensive by Chiangrai standards but on a par with similar popular locations where quality and price are typically out of sync. The food order was misinterpreted and the incorrect food item arrived at the table after 25 minutes.

Given the lack of service (not even close to attentive or welcoming in any shape or form), the low grade FB offerings and the inability to get a simple order right, we decided to cancel and leave, once again confirming that most FB establishments like this are pretty much the same where position and presentation supersede the DNA of this...

I visited this cafe last week, 4 people in total. We got a table beside window (which was a bit hot). The waitress added 1 chair for us, since it was 3-chair tables.

We waited almost 10 minutes without getting any attention from staffs. Eventually, a waiter told us to move to another table with the reason that we "blocked the passage"! How come? The space we covered is almost the same with the previous format. In fact, the new table was in the center of the room and we cannot see any view, while we wanted to sit by the window to see greenery.

So we declined. Not long after that, one waitress that seems to be the previous head came and asked us to move again (with not such a gentle one!). Of course, we declined and decided to leave the cafe.

Such behavior is not acceptable and not appropriate for anyone in service industry. If we blocked the passage as they said, why the first waitress added a chair for us, and I also looked at my chair to make sure it didn't block anything.

I wouldn't regret leaving this cafe without tasting any food or drink. And will not come to this kind of cafe again. Chiang Rai is full of good cafes and restaurants and worth visiting...

We ordered tea and coffee and the northern specialty platter. The tea and coffee came quite quickly. But the platter took 20 min to be served. The meat and sausage in the platter came at room temperature. Even the rice is at room temperature. I immediately told one of the servers that it's too cold and we would like it heated up. He nodded but never came back. I called another server to say the same thing and she couldn't understand too. In the end we had to resort to type out what we want in Google translate to tell them. Upon finally understanding it, they took the dishes away without even apologizing. The warm food was served faster this time, with a change of full set of utensils. But by then it's been so long that we have lost our appetite. The food was not fantastic either. We initially planned to order desserts but decided to not waste anymore time and money on this little restaurant. The tea and coffee was probably the best part about this place. It was such a disappointment overall. I would...

- Extra charge for using Credit Card Drove all the way from Bangkok and decided to eat here reading reviews but rather disappointed. Food was alright and nothing special that you want to put it in your bucket list. Most of the restaurants have good views in Chiang mai. Khraphao was ok, spaghetti was ok, only Garlic Bread was good, and drinks were just average. People are nice but you have to wait for someone to come or get up and walk to them if you need anything. They are not around if you are sitting in the air-conditioning zone. SUGGESTION - if you see a customer driving from Bangkok all the way to your restaurant, make sure to NOT CHARGE EXTRA ON THE CREDIT CARD. The bill was around 1800+ baht and putting extra charge on the credit card was a cheap way of running a business. Paying is okay even of the food is bad but that extra charge on the credit card made sure we never visit here again. Disappointed
