Da Juree e Martino — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

Second day in a row I stop by this nice restaurant to have lunch. I ordered rice yesterday and pasta today- I enjoyed both meals. The portions were so large though to the point I couldn't finish it. I was surprised when they brought my leftovers in a take away box- very kind of them; too bad I didn’t have anywhere to put it to take with me. Nice and friendly waitress; the owner (I think he is) seems very caring and serves some tables himself. You do need to make yourself noticeable though if you want to order something else after the food is served. That didn’t bother me at all, just a kind suggestion to visitors not to be shy to signal the staff if you need something- they smile and come right away.😌 Overall, calm and warm atmosphere. Lots of parking lots close by. As a bonus, there are showers in washrooms, so I could wash the sand off my feet...

The place is very nice, Thai staff was nice as usual, but the İtalian man, working here or maybe the owner, was very rude, though to the Italians he was nice, which is rase the question why. Although we did not say anything he angrily asked what do you want. I felt that I wanted to leave immediately, but because of the rain we had no options. Luckily the clients, sitting nearby, calmed us down and said that he is always like this. As far as i saw he chooses people to whom he wants to be nice. So only for that reason, in the future I may choose another...

We weren't even greeted, the menus were just thrown at our table!! And I mean thrown seriously..... The service was a disaster.. We asked for drinks three times and didn't get any. The food wasn't tasty either, we ordered Thai food in Thailand. It wasn't even seasoned, not even salt... (fried chicken and pad thai) normal dishes for Thailand! We also asked for spices and didn't get any. We didn't try Italian cuisine. Maybe they should only offer Italian cuisine there.
