Jan Kub Khao restaurant prepares southern Thai dishes which tastes quite authentic and very spicy. We’ve been coming here once per month.

Our favorite dishes that we recommend are 1) fried eggs with bai meang leaves, 2) crab meat with curry or black peppers, 3) papaya pok pok. The other dishes are all good.

For deserts, they have ice cream shaped in fruits like durian, watermelon, etc. which are quite pricey. The red velvet cake and other cake selections were bad and stale. Craving for crab meat omelette so went down to this nearest restaurant to try. We have a crab meat omelette, deep fried shrimp paste and the dark sweet soy sauce pork belly. I especially like the pork belly as it was tender and juicy. The crab meat omelette would taste better if the chunks of crab were bigger.
