Great place to come for beer, ramen and gyoza. This was the reason I came. Service staff are extremely friendly and smiling. They hustle and are quick to ensure you have all you need. They genuinely seem to enjoy their work here. The place also have an extensive menu. Plenty of ramen, sushi, curry and rice, and other Japanese comfort food. My miso special ramen came with seaweed, egg, original noodles and 2 huge thick slices of pork. My cuts had a layer of fat in them but it was still a huge 2 pieces with plenty of meet. The miso soup broth was good but not the best I have had. Asahi on tap. And plenty of beer combos. Not quite fine dining but a strong 4 out of 5. I will be back though. It's one of the best Shakariki branches I've ever been to. Usually I find Shakariki food pricing a bit high compared to it's quality. However, to my surprise this time, I love my Shakariki Ramen, the noodle is a bit al dente, almost like pasta noodle soup and the broth is rich with flavors. Their chicken skewers are cooked to perfect also, well done but not dry, I recommend the salt version. And their octopus in plum sauce is super refreshing, it's a perfect side to start with. And of course, with all the food I ordered their hot sake. Got to say it a perfect nostalgia meal. Although the only thing I don't like is that they don't have any ventilators to get rid of the bbq smoke and smell when other tables dine in the indoor part of the restaurant, it would be nice if they can...

Feel like Japan restaurant. Food is delicious and good quality. The price is reasonable compare to the quality and amount of the food. There’re lots of menus in many style. If you want the big set menu for 4 persons, you need to order 1 day before.

They give us an option to make okonomiyaki by ourselves or let the chef cook it. If you want to try, it would be fun and of course I tried already, I can tell that it’s not easy to make it. 555

Even they have only 1 serving staff but she is so energetic and has a service mind, no need to wait for a long time.
