Agree with all of the reviews except the one that said they were closed. I guess maybe one day they were, but we (family and I) couldn’t imagine a better day at the beach. Everything was nearly perfect. Food was top notch, even for Thai food, service impeccable, and the beach, with the usual eye candy, aside from a few rocks and shells that just can’t seem to find a way to move out from a small area in the crashing waves, was perfect, save for the smell of cigarette smoke (including from the owner and staff, unfortunately). As a side note, the owner of the restaurant is Mr. T and he is so lovely and friendly. He told us he owned a bigger restaurant on this same beach but it was washed away by the 2004 tsunami and he lost everything and so he set up the current smaller beachside restaurant he has now. But from meeting him you'd never know he experienced loss, he is so friendly and upbeat. Makes me really happy to support this restaurant!!! A must try if...

service was really REALLY REALLY GOOD, I’ve been to many places where they can be rude, numb and unfriendly, but not this place!!! the man that served us was the friendliest and really funny without being annoying.
The view: One of the best views of a sunrise you can get in Phuket, the beach, palms, area is 10/10....
