If you're visiting Phuket, Phuket FantaSea is an experience you simply cannot miss. This world-class cultural theme park offers a mesmerizing blend of entertainment, Thai culture, and sumptuous dining—all wrapped into one unforgettable evening.
The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the Phuket FantaSea Show, a grand, theatrical performance that beautifully showcases Thailand’s rich cultural heritage. From the moment you step into the grand theater, you’re transported into a world of myth, legend, and traditional Thai storytelling. The show is a visual masterpiece, with stunning set designs, elaborate costumes, and state-of-the-art effects that leave you in awe.
What sets the FantaSea Show apart is how it combines modern technology with traditional Thai art forms. The performance narrates a story steeped in Thai folklore, featuring elements like traditional dance, elephant performances, acrobatics, and vibrant light and sound effects. The majestic elephants steal the show with their grace and precision, and there are moments of pure wonder as they participate in the larger-than-life spectacle. The rich cultural references—from Thai music and dance to intricate costume design—make this performance not just a show but an immersive experience in Thai culture.
Before or after the show, you can enjoy a grand buffet dinner at the Golden Kinnaree Restaurant, which is included with your ticket. This buffet is perfect for those who appreciate variety and flavor. With an extensive spread of Thai, Asian, and international dishes, it’s an ideal option for families and groups with varied tastes. What stands out is how the buffet caters particularly well to Indian visitors. The food options include a number of flavorful vegetarian dishes, such as spicy curries, stir-fries, and a wide array of salads and rice dishes that suit Indian palates. For non-vegetarians, there’s a great selection of meats and seafood, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied.
The buffet is not just a meal; it’s an experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is grand and ornate, with traditional Thai decor that makes you feel as though you’re dining in an ancient royal hall. The variety, freshness, and flavor of the food are excellent, and the staff is attentive, making it a very pleasant dining experience.
What makes Phuket FantaSea especially appealing for Indian visitors is the food and the overall cultural resonance. The blend of familiar flavors in the buffet, paired with the awe-inspiring cultural show, makes it an ideal evening outing for families, couples, and groups. It’s a celebration of Thailand’s heritage, presented in a way that feels both accessible and extravagant.

Read moreWe did not know what to expect. Our package included a pick up, dinner, a gold ticket a show and a drop off, that was the given. When we got there you did not know what to look at first. It was wow, and nearly overwhelming. Here are just a few tips when you go to this show that I would suggest. Try to arrive when the gates open. Take pictures from when you areive while moving to the ticket office, when the show comes out there are too many people and everyone rushes to get their taxi.
Then you could move to the entrance while still taking pictures. You had to make a choice dinner first and then walk around or vice versa. We choose the first option. Like I said take pictures as you proceed. With the gold ticket we ate at a gold place. It was massive. They were very well organised. We took pictures inside. The buffet was nice. There were many people but not once did you feel crowded. They were well organised. After our dinner we walked around and took pictures They have glamorous stalls where they sell different things, soft toys, glasses, clothes just to name a few. Unfortunately , it is a little bit pricey but nice to look at. We moved towards the 🏢 where the show is you move in lines towards the entry. As you enter there are a red and green zone. Obviously, most of the people went through the red zone. You need to hand in your phone and camera, you are not allowed to enter with it. But it is secure. As you walk in, there are photo opportunities 😀 but now you need to look and take in. For us that love to take pics it felt strange. There is also an opportunity to take a picture with a tiger for 750Baht, we made use of that opportunity. You need to show your ticket and can pay with your credit card as well. Just before you go into the main doors you can buy water. We did not but I would suggest you do if it is hot. Look at your ticket and you will see the number of the door entrance you need to use. Make sure you go in at the right door. You present your ticket and they will tell you left side or right side. If it's clear you can go straight to your seat otherwise they will take you to your seat. It can take a while for all the people to take their seats.
The show itself was very good. Colourful, expect the unexpected and look everywhere. The decor is amazing. The lights and the use of all the different colours make a big impression. People coming from the roof, from the back and from the sides. There is no time for sleeping. We enjoyed this show.
On your way out I would suggest if you early first going to fetch your cellphones. If it is already long queues I would rather go and fetch the photos before you go to the cell phone side. When you are going to fetch your cellphones look at the colour of the tag you received. You need to stand in that specific line.
Also important if you got picked up remember your driver's name and number plate of...
Read moreThe highlight of this place is undoubtedly the show—it's simply breathtaking! I visited with two groups of families, including young children under four years old, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially the show. However, please note that they have strict rules regarding recording devices, so phones and cameras are not allowed during the show.
The ticket package included a buffet dining experience before the show, and I must say the food was quite good. There was a wide selection to choose from, catering to different tastes.
Considering the place has been operating for decades, it is impressively well-maintained. Despite the old-school decor, the toilets were clean and sanitary.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. It's a must-visit for first-time visitors, particularly for those seeking a cultural experience. If possible, I suggest purchasing the gold seat tickets for an enhanced viewing experience.
The park opens at 5:30 pm, and the show starts at 9 pm. We had about an hour to explore the park, which was more than enough time for us. One highlight was the opportunity to feed the elephants, although we arrived late after dinner.
When it's showtime and you enter the theater, keep in mind that all phones and recording devices need to be cloaked or deposited for safekeeping.
While the show was entertaining and colorful, I did feel a bit saddened when I saw the elephants standing with their back legs during the performance. It seemed uncomfortable for them.
Aside from that, enjoy the show! It's a vibrant display with a local twist. Don't miss the star performers with their four legs. Our evening was truly delightful, bringing back childhood memories. I highly recommend it for kids of all ages, up to 99 years old!
I absolutely loved the overall experience! There's so much to do and see. The show itself was amazing, and the food was equally impressive. Throughout the venue, you'll find plenty of picturesque spots to capture memorable photos.
Visiting this place is a must. It offers beautiful and authentic Thai traditional dance and shows. It's a great destination for families and children. The ticket prices are reasonable for the shows. If you're interested in playing games, they charge 100 baht per game or 800 baht for 10 games. We managed to get a good bargain by purchasing our tickets through our taxi driver. Just make sure to check the show schedule before you come, as it may not be open every day.
This place is an absolute must-see in Phuket. It offers a perfect blend of cultural and traditional shows that are well-choreographed and take you on a journey through time. The elephants are incredibly well-trained, and there's even a small circus choreographed within the show where the animals are treated with love. I truly loved every moment of it and highly recommend not missing out on this...
