Suan Bua — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

Massive menu, with plenty of both Western and Thai food to choose from. Menu written in both Thai and English, so it was easy for me to choose.

I got a beef steak, my wife got fried fish. Both were cooked correctly and both were very tasty.

Price was very reasonable and the portions good. (June 1, 2023 -- 610 baht [about 20 bucks, U.S.] got us the Steak and Fish meals, plus extra French Fries, an order of Cheesy Garlic Bread, and a Ceasar Salad that we shared.

My wife had never had Ceasar Salad before and she loved it! The Salad was large enough that it would have made a nice light meal, all by itself.)

Service was very friendly and professional (not a word I use very often about restaurant service in Thailand! Different culture, different standards, y'know?)

They don't open until 11 am, so breakfast would have to be a late one. But their breakfast food is ala carte and reasonably priced, so you can build your plate how you'd like it. 2 eggs, bacon, ham or sausage, bread/toast---whatever you're likely to choose---will probably come in under 200 baht [about 6 bucks, U.S.]. Breakfast is served throughout their opening hours.

I dropped by this restaurant for my dinner. They have both air-conditioned indoor as well as outdoor settings. The location is spacious and peaceful but little bit away from the main town. They have got live musics as well. They provide varieties of Thai and western foods. We can also get ice cream, Bingsu, fruit punch etc. If you like to have some drink they also cater beers and whiskeys as well. The taste of food was good and It was not very expensive.
