The Resort — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

They serve Thai food in a modern surrouding. There is a spacious open area with outdoor seating. Live music is also on offer. They also have a cocktail menu. It seems more popular with Thai customers as I cannot recall seeing any foreigners in there. The "waitresses" tend to gather around groups of men and this can make the service pretty slow at times.

Just went there today to eat and was turned away because we had our 17 year-old nephew with us. We've never had that happen before. The place wasn't exactly busy either. Their loss. Wonderful relaxing bar and restaurant, very clean and spacious. Live music every night and the band will take requests. Staff are very friendly and happy to have a joke time permitting. The toilets are spotless, you will be hard pushed to find cleaner fresher smelling toilets in any restaurant in Thailand. Food is good quality and excellent taste, can recommend Tom Yam Goong.
