To be honest, I would not recommend this place.
We ate here for our free couple dinner provided with our extended 1 week stay at Mandarava.
The food was over priced and very below average. I was surprised to see the other reviews saying that this was good Thai food.
We had course B which had fried egg rolls, Tom Yum stir fry, Beef stir fry, and fruit.
The egg rolls were decent. But the tom yum stir fry was cold - half was warm and the rest cold. Poorly flavored. The beef stir fry was also warm not hot. It was very dry and one dimensional.
Only giving 2 stars for the service. If it’s just a rating for food I’d give it a 1 star.
I don’t even recommend this place to eat for free. Maybe some of the other dishes are good but if you’re eating the free course, don’t come here and spend your few meals visiting...
Read moreRestaurant in Mandarava Resort and Spa. Stayed at the hotel and used for breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of breads, pastas, pancakes, salads, and desserts, with only a few Thai dishes. The balance of flavors was very good, and there was nothing too spicy or too strong tasting to eat. There was also a wide variety of drinks, including fruit juices, coffee, and soy milk. The view is great, and the hall staff is very attentive and helpful, making for a very comfortable and luxurious dining experience. I had always wanted to try massaman curry when I came to Thailand, and I was especially happy to find it here. (Ordinary Thai curry is a little too spicy for...
Read moreDelicious set Thai menu for 2. We tried nearly every set over several dinners here and every time exceeded expectations. Set H was my favourite with a Spicy Beef Salad to begin, followed by Choo Chee Fish, Tamarind Duck and steamed rice. Fresh fruit to finish. Scrumptious food and super friendly, welcoming service. The view from the outside private dining tables is awesome. While there is no kids menu, our little champ was happy to order an entree of spring rolls or satay sticks, both great portions and hit the spot. A huge thank you to Maew, Lek, Poo and the female trainee staff member who made our evenings here so...
