The temple area is quite large. There are four main buildings here - a small building located in the center of the square, where, traditionally, it is customary to pray and leave offerings to Buddha, whose statue, by the way, is made of black sapphire and is guarded by two characters from the famous ancient Indian epic. Nearby there is an oval building where firecrackers are set off, which scare away evil spirits.
There is a kho-rakan (bell tower) on the square, you cannot climb it. At its top there is a bell, which is struck on major holidays, as well as at the beginning and end of prayers!
The temple was built in 1895 and not so long ago it underwent a complete restoration, which is why the buildings here look fresh, bright and attractive.
