I’m sitting at a table of this very restaurant whilst writing this review, finishing my pad Thai! From the moment you step foot in this charming establishment, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a remarkable culinary journey. (Not the annoying every other local places trying to get anything from you)
Let's start with the food. Sweet Chilly is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking tantalizing flavors and mouthwatering dishes. The menu boasts an impressive array of options, ranging from traditional Thai cuisine to international delights (not sure about the latter - but wouldn’t expect much, you’re in Thailand and that’s their speciality!). Each dish is expertly crafted with a perfect blend of ingredients, resulting in flavors that dance on your palate. Whether you're craving authentic Pad Thai, succulent grilled seafood, or delectable curries, Sweet Chilly delivers on every front.
We tried spring rolls, pad Thai, red curry, glass noodles, fried banana, and the fruit shakes, and everything was delightful!
What truly sets Sweet Chilly apart, however, is its commitment to providing outstanding service. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to cater to your every need. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as a valued guest, and the staff's passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction. Whether you have dietary restrictions, need recommendations, or simply have a question about the menu, the attentive staff is always ready to assist with a smile. Their knowledge and enthusiasm create an inviting and comfortable dining environment that enhances the overall experience.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Sweet Chilly is its affordability. In a world where quality often comes at a premium, Sweet Chilly stands out as a beacon of reasonable prices without compromising on taste or portion sizes.

Most of the dishes cost around 150 Baht. Order two dishes, and you are set!
My kids chickened out and ordered a burger and spagetti. They seemed to like it. I sampled my son's spagetti. Nope, give me more of the panang please!
The staff is friendly too!

Read moreDue to a late arrival at our nearby hotel (Mandarava), we picked this spot for dinner. It did not disappoint us. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food was very good!
The pineapple fried rice was deliously sweet, but not too sweet. The presentation of the dish is also stunning as you can see on the picture. The Pad Thai was the best one so far in Thailand. It had fresh ingredients, it had a bit of heat to it and it was savory due to the peanuts. Combined with some of the condiments - for me some more chili flakes and the fish sauce - it was delicious!
So venture out of your hotel, and take this restaurant into...
