DELI CAFE' ( More than coffe)@ Karon — Restaurant in Karon

We had our wonderful early dinner at Deli Turk Traditional Turkish Restaurant near our hotel. A very kind boss who served customers with hospitality and passion. Recommended us a few traditional Turkish dishes and drinks. Бурек(with cheese), Tandir Lamb, Adana Kebab Lamb, Boss's specialty Kunefe and Turkish tea. We love the way the lamb was cooked, tender and full of flavours of herbs. Nice conversation between the restaurant's staffs and the Boss and before we finished our meal the boss even gave us an extra treat of their Turkish teas and presented us with a 10% voucher for us to come back again. The dessert Kunefe is good to eat while it is warm so even if we are very full, with the recommendation of the boss we still finished the dessert. It was so delicious that we never took a good photo of the dessert🤪 This is a sense of respect to the chef and restaurant, an appreciation for their nice foods and service. Thank you for having us in your nice restaurant. Will be back to this marvelous restaurant if we have the chance to be in Phuket...

Having read the rave reviews about this restaurant.We decided to try some Turkish food in Phuket. We ordered lamb kofte which looked pretty large on the Menu plus the calamari. After placing our order we noticed the kitchen staff suddenly visiting two deep freezers in one of the open areas. As we were the only guests I realized our food was being taken from the freezers!! On arrival the Lamb koftes were much smaller than depicted in the menu . They tasted horrible and we're obviously from the freezer. Calamari were edible because of the sauce, but not fresh. The local street food is fresh, tastier and much much better value. A very disappointing experience for us. I would not recommend wasting your money here for reheated...

The food was way too salty, and the portion sizes were incredibly small. It just wasn't worth it.

It was like they poured too much salt into everything, and it completely masked the other flavors.

The plates looked like appetizers rather than main courses. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and disappointed. I paid a lot of money and didn't get much to eat in return. Not to mention that it was too too hot, no ACs.

P.S: the owner is so defensive, instead of replying to every comment rudely, please go and improve the quality of your frozen oily food that you...
