Jungle Cafe' & Restaurant/Hideaway Jungle Bar (Kathu Water Fall - Phuket) — Restaurant in Kathu

If taking a taxi, tell your driver to take the 10 or 12 road NOT the 14 road. Our driver took the 14 road and barely made it there since the roads were so steep. When we tried to order a taxi back from the restaurant, about 5 taxis cancelled on us because they tried to take the same road and could not make it. The owner of the restaurant (a very sweet woman) had to call her own taxi person to get us back to our hotel.

Now on to the food - this was the best Thai food we have had in all of Thailand so far! The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but you get a fantastic view of the jungle. Highly recommend the prawn Tom yum soup and...

Went on a lazy empty Friday afternoon in end September. We were the only ones there. The place looks smaller than what in pics. However cosy cafe, sound of waterfall and LOVELY dishes. The taste is very good and staff nice. Even the non alcoholic drinks were well made. We went down the steps to take pics of the smaller waterfall that flows below the cafe. However do note the area has mosquitos down. They also have a hanging net on which you can lie down and take snaps. We found parking also easily outside. Can visit for a “different” experience....

The food was exceptional, I personally would love to come here for a dinner date or a nice lunch out with friends. A very calm and collected area with a waterfall to cerinade you eith noise whike you eat. You can eat at the base of this waterfall dipping your toes into the water as you eat. I would definitely suggest this place as a must if you are deciding on places to eat. The price is excellent for what you get.
