First of all, i'd like to say that it is an old hotel. The location is not as strategic as expected, since it is in front of a fly over, it is difficult to find a taxi. Two times I ride a taxi to Bangkok City Suite Hotel and two times the driver dont know and do not familiar with this hotel. They dropped us at BANGKOK CITY HOTEL which is also at Ratchatewi but 15 mins away from BANGKOK CITY SUITE HOTEL by foot. So my conclusion is this hotel is not famous and not familiar to Thai drivers despite of its oldness.
The room is dark. The lamps are not helpful. With all lamps are on, it is still dark. And when I open the curtain to get some sun, it is clearly seen from the building next to the hotel so I decided to keep it closed.
The bathroom is average. I don't like the hair dryer as it is thr old one. Using timer and the cable is like vacuum cleaner.
I smelled cigarettes smoke the whole time without knowing where it is come from. This one is intolerable for me.
The food is average and they have only a few tables for all the visitors.
Definitely this is not what I expect from this hotel and I recommend you to find...
Read moreThis time during my visit to Bangkok, I wanted to explore the food around Bangthat Thong Road, so I chose Bangkok City Suite Hotel for its budget-friendly price and relatively close location. However, transportation was a bit inconvenient as there’s no nearby BTS or MRT station, making it difficult to travel from place to place directly from the hotel. On the positive side, the hotel uses a card-controlled elevator system, which adds a good level of security and safety. The staff are friendly and provide bottled water every morning without needing to request it, which was a nice touch. One downside is the housekeeping service. Although there’s a sign that allows them to clean while you're out, I only saw cleaning done in the mornings and not at other times. Another minor issue is the limited number of charging outlets in the room, all concentrated in one place, which made charging multiple devices a bit inconvenient.I appreciated the welcome drink—cold lemon drink water —at the reception, which was very refreshing after a long journey. Also, the availability of self-service washing and drying machines was...
Read moreWe stayed at the hotel and the room was not very clean. We asked the housekeeping to clean the room and when we arrived they had only put new towels and water in the room. The rest of the room was untouched. There was hair on the floor (which had already been there from another guest), dirty cups, unmade beds. To top it off, we found a door in the room that opened just by pushing it because it closed with a magnet. The wind in the room blew it open and we saw that it opened onto the room of the guest next door. In other words, the rooms were completely connected without any kind of security or privacy, since we could completely see the inside of our neighbours and they could see our room too if the door was opened... we had to carry our documents and valuables with us every day because we didn't want to leave them in the hotel... not to mention that one of the lifts was broken and there were long waits to go up and down. Without a doubt, I was very disappointed for a hotel of this class. Honestly, I have stayed in hostels and they have treated me better and offered me more services for...
