We stopped here after reading all the good reviews.

The server was nice and attentive.

The food I thought was a bit too oily. I mean, a lot of oil. It looked like we ordered a bowl of oil soup.

The food was not spicy (I like spicy food and requested it to be very spicy).

Ok here was my biggest complaint… the flies. About 15 seconds after our food arrived, we had approximately 20 flies buzzing around us. A lot of the outdoor restaurants around Lanta will have 1-2 flies bothering your meal. But here it was a small army.

It felt like we were in a comedy movie. My wife and I developed a system, one of us would wave our arms frantically to keep the flies away while the other would get 2-3 bites of food. We took turns until we finished the whole meal.

I suggest you chose to go at a peak time and that way the flies will be busy with other customers. Or order a cheaper extra dish and we put it on the floor next to your table and hopefully the flies will focus on that and not your food.

One of the things I have enjoyed about visiting Lanta in off season is 90% of the beach restaurants are closed.. ( no beach at high tide) and have to go off beach to eat . This restaurant is just off beach at the very northern end of Klong Nin and accessible by a bridge if you want to walk along the beach (or road access past 250m past Lotus). Its Halal so no alcohol , but do yourself a favour ... have a sunset drink on the beach and head here, Ive eaten here at least 10 times in my month here and always had the Thai basics, Green Chicken Curry, Pad Kraw and their Pad Thai wrapped in egg with Prawns is the best Pad Thai I have had... all dishes around or less than 100 baht. Very clean and beautiful setup restaurant. Just a lil bit detour from main road.

Food is reasonably priced (some even cheaper than roadside stall!) and the taste is very good. Authentic Thai taste certified by yours truly food hunter.

It's Muslim owned so its Halal no worry. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Preparation are fast and we really enjoyed the area, foods and lighting.

Definitely our favourite dinner spot when we come again here at Koh Lanta.

Have few parking spots so no issue to those driving car.

Got beach view but we came for dinner so cant see much.
