Our visit to Fatty Chubby restaurant in Koh Lanta was an absolute delight from start to finish. We are here twice, once we had Thai dishes which were great (shrimp omelette and the noodles) the second time we had western breakfasts (potato waffle with smoked salmon and fruit and granola). The two meals were like night and day!! The Thai dishes were well executed and very tasty. The western breakfasts were really not very enjoyable sadly, the yoghurt was a mess of confusing flavours and the potato waffle was too soft, tasted just sweet rather than savoury or potato-ey, the smoked salmon and cream cheese were both strange and the sauce was sweet also. The burgers looked amazing. We were sad as after the first meal we were happy to come back, but we can’t recommend the breakfast dishes we tried for their taste. Portions...

What a gem of a place! So inviting, clean and cozy. The staff are helpful and the owner is the loveliest person I came across in Koh Lanta! I had the fatty chubby burger with fried topped with parmesan, and it was EXCELLENT. I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant, and the ride there with my scooter provided me with some of the best views I came across in Koh Lanta. Definitely visit this restaurant, as they have a variety of western as well as Thai food, and the people running It are some of the nicest people you will meet in...
