We had dinner there, the pizzas are good value for money, they are big so good to share along with a salad. They have a garden in the back if you don't want to be seated by the road, it's really lovely there, they have lanterns up, we were very cosy. However our experience fell a little short on the service. The waitress, bless her, didn't speak much English but she was very smiley and polite, she tried to make our evening pleasant. However, the floor manager wasn't friendly to us at all. We were with a one year old who was holding the menu, when she eventually came to take our order she noticed he had it, rushed over and the first thing she did was snatch the menu out of his hands and wiped it on her jeans, then took our order. We were taken aback by this. She seemed quite short tempered and snappy. And as of then seemed to always be looking over her shoulder, watching over our table. The food was also very slow, and when we asked for the bill it also took a while. I went inside to see if I could pay at the till to save them the trip back outside and I was told to 'wait a minute' and to sit down. I understand that they're dealing with high volumes of guests but that really is not excuse to treat customers so poorly, particularly as we weren't loud and we didn't complain despite the long wait. People are on holiday, I think the atmosphere needs to be made a bit more relaxed so customers can enjoy their food and experience. We left a little fed up and disgruntled, not what you want...
Read moreYou might have been in Thailand for a while and eaten your fair share of Pad Thai, rice and noodles and now feel like some ‘western’ food. Pizza always does it for me and tonight I ate a pizza that I would speculate is certainly the best in the Long Beach area of Koh Lanta. I’ve tried a few whilst in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and this was far and away the absolute best. Even better that ones I’ve tried in London.
Some pizza restaurants fail on the base and you eat something resembling a biscuit with half melted cheese on top. Not this place. The base was as perfect as I have had and the topping only matched this. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and there was no question of me not finishing it off. Other touches I enjoyed were little mini snacks whilst you’re waiting for the pizza to arrive and a slice of water melon as a palette cleanser after the food.
The staff were also very friendly. There were pasta dishes on offer as well but we didn’t try those. Just a note too for vegetarians, you’ll easily be satiated at this place. Glad we stopped by. Would...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and tried their pizza and spaghetti dishes. I have to say, both dishes were absolutely fantastic.
First, the pizza was cooked to perfection with a deliciously crispy crust and toppings that were fresh and full of flavor. The tomato sauce was well balanced and not too sweet. I especially enjoyed the pepperoni and mushroom toppings which were plentiful and perfectly cooked.
The spaghetti dish was equally impressive. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce had a perfect balance of spices and seasoning.
All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for their pizza and spaghetti dishes. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be coming...
