Mook Anda Bar — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to support the meanest and most angry person I've ever met in Thailand. The owner of this bar cursed me out twice in one day for doing absolutely nothing wrong. The first time, I simply put out a cigarette butt in an ash tray placed on a table and he screamed and yelled at me and told me how much he hates everyone from the hostel. I probably would've spent over $100 U.S. at this bar during my stay but couldn't bring myself to do it because this man was genuinely a horrible and angry person. Later that night, my friend and I just walked in front of the bar on the beach and he came out screaming and cursing again. To be honest, great location but the owner is the most annoying and unfriendly person I have ever met. I wanted to order a water and he said they were out of water, then i asked for a juice but he was saying they only have cocktails. People were sitting next to me with non alcoholic drinks so he just wanted to let us buy cocktails to get more money. I told him that im not drinking so he asked us to leave. We stayed at the hostel next to his bar and he told us that he hates people from the hostel. He goes to every table and gives you the menu and makes preasure to let you buy more drinks. I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time and this was the most inappropriate and disgusting behaviour I’ve witnessed from a server.
