We have been coming to hang out with Kate for the Last 6 years. Their new Bungalow and restaurant have been a grand extension to the old Yoga Studio. The attention to detail is amazing, everything is tied together beautifully.
The Yoga: there are a variety of classes available and they do a great job meeting the needs of an ever changing vacation community. There are flow classes, you classes, meditation classes and even kids classes. Guest Instructors periodically pop in from all over the world too. They even have a Slackline for some online yoga next to the studio. There are multiple bathrooms and two showers too.
The Housing and pool: The housing is amazing, super simple and efficient spaces with everything you need. We felt right at home in the 3 different rooms we have stayed in over the years. They have lots of options even meeting the needs of large 8 person families. The pool is just big enough, about 4 to 5 ft deep. It has a small section for small children. It's not great for lap swimming, but if that's your thing just head to the beach like we do.
Edit as of November 2022 There is now a full restaurant so be sure to check out the reviews there! Im going to leave my old review for context.
The Food! Wow! They serve Breakfast and Lunch and the kitchen closes around 3pm. There are lots of menu items for breakfast but if your staying in the bungalows I would highly suggest the buffet for hotel guests only. The buffet has Eggs that you order your way, fried potatoes, cooked veggies, fresh fruit, bread, cereal, yogart, muffins, bread and The pancakes are amazing! For drinks there is fresh juice, ginger shots and smoothies as well as make your own French press coffee, an assortment of tea, fresh lemon ginger tea and mineral water. The bar does stay open later so you can get fresh cold coconuts and smoothies all day.
Hopefully I have convinced you to give this place a try! We absolutely love the place, the community...

Read moreI would really like to make several reviews of this place. But I can’t so I will divide into food, yoga and hotel.
Food🍲 :
Lovely food with a lot is healthy options, like kombucha and vegan tacos. Everything that I tried was delicious.
Yoga🧘♂️
Lovely environment with a stunning view of the jungle, the instructor was really good and I really enjoyed her teaching style. She often gave several options on hard positions due to most of the attendees are on vacation and maybe don’t want to push them self to hard :) only thing I missed was a class for us early birds, maybe a class at 07:00?
The hotel: It’s cheap to stay here and the rooms are bungalows amongst a lot of trees and bushes (like a jungle). It’s a cozy environment but the rooms was to basic for my taste. And since it’s basic and they are in the jungle there is bugs and mosquitoes. The staff in the reception was very helpful and friendly and took real good care of us, but the cleaning was lacking behind. When they visited our bungalow they didn’t make our bed or change towels, perhaps it was due to not being the right day for that. I also do not like when the shower head is of bad quality and the door doesn’t close properly, but again it’s not a luxurious place and maybe the main reason you stay here is because...
