The Angels Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

Went to this lovely place based on the amazing reviews. We were therefore aware there would be a wait for our food. The place is run by a beautiful couple, and therfore the service may be slower than places with dozens of staff - so make sure you have an evening free with no time restrictions and you will not be disappointed.

The atmosphere is ralaxing and inviting, with lots to look at - it has lots of character and is a reflection of the owners' personalities.

We had starters, which unlike other eateries in Thailand, actually came first 😆

The food was super tasty and very well cooked. The chef, Jackie actually brought out our food as we were one of the last tables. It was great to meet the person creating the dishes.

We even stayed for dessert, which again was made with love

This is probably our most memorable dinner in Thailand, and the best in Koh Lanta.

WOW! Easily the best khao soi I've eaten in 3 months of traveling (and ever). The vibes are absolutely unbeatable, endless art on the walls and chilled music. Comfortable seating and most importantly Oh and Jackie are some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of being in the presence of. It's just the two of them running the entire kitchen and service. Both of them smiling ear to ear the whole time and being so incredibly kind (even to a very rude customer who complain about the wait, which Jackie kindly informs everyone about ahead of time). I would wait a very very very long time for that khao soi again - if you can't be patient and kind to these wonderful souls, this is not the place for you. We spent two days on Ko Lanta and went there twice. Where to start. Super unique and cute little restaurant with amazing owners ans it shows through all the wishes from various customers. Jacky and oh are super friendly, welcoming and put the customers wishes above everything. While waiting for the food you can do some shopping in the back or read all the funny and entertaining signs or have a wholesome conversation with them. Atm they have a small extra menu which is beyond incredible. The food is made with so much love and it was one of the best I had so far. The shakes are amazing and so fresh and delicious.
