Bamboo Bar — Restaurant in Ko Samui

During my stay on Koh Samui, I had the pleasure of visiting Bamboo Bar twice, and both times were absolutely fantastic. This place offers everything you could want in a bar – delicious cocktails, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service.

One of the highlights for me was their mojito, which was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, not too sour, and made with fresh mint and lime. I also tried a couple of other cocktails, and they were all top-quality, made with fresh ingredients and skillfully prepared. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing, and you can taste the difference in every drink.

The service was also exceptional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Even when the bar got a bit busier in the evening, they managed to keep the drinks coming without long waiting times. It’s clear that they care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience.

As for the ambiance, it was just perfect. The bar has a laid-back, tropical vibe with a great selection of music playing at the right volume – enough to create a fun atmosphere but still allowing for conversation. The seating is comfortable, and the overall setting makes it an ideal place to unwind, whether you’re alone, with friends, or on a romantic evening out.

Overall, I highly recommend Bamboo Bar to anyone visiting Koh Samui. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail, relax with good music, or simply soak in the island vibes, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be coming back on...

Love the vibe of the restaurant/bar, all the lights and colours!

We had the virgin mojito and pina colda they were ok not as sweet as we would have liked but I really enjoyed the strawberry shake. They also bought out popcorn with the drinks which was nice but it was a bit too salty for us.

Pad Thai was nice but it was a bit different and not as nice as the ones I had in Chiang mai. Fries and calamari was good.

They let people smoke in the restaurant as non-smokers and an asthmatic I did not like that especially when I’m eating and now our clothes and hair stink of cigarettes, so disgusting.

We had to pay by cash because there was a bank charge of 4.5% if we paid by card.

What an marvelous restaurant right next to our hotel! The Italian owner is a really nice guy staying around with his guests. We really like the atmosphere with a lot of little lights, seating bags and some background music. I really need to say that the food is excellent! We were there several times and really enjoyed the food. One we were there with some local family and also they stated that the (Thai) food was surprisingly good :) if you join: don’t miss the tiramisu - but be prepared for a big portion :D Excellent choice with children as you will find beside good quality Thai food some really great pizza, fingerfood and other international dishes.
