“To Be Sweet” – My Go-To Breakfast Spot in Koh Samui

I’m a breakfast person — every morning, no matter where I am in the world, I look forward to a good meal to start the day. While I was in Koh Samui, I found a gem of a place called To Be Sweet, and it quickly became my favorite spot.

The staff were absolutely amazing, especially a kind woman named Heidi (I hope I’m spelling her name right!). She made every visit feel like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. I had very specific preferences — “no salad,” “extra egg,” “make the omelette this way,” “please use my own coffee and just add hot water” — and every time, her answer was: no problem.

They went out of their way to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. The food was great, the service was warm, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I felt appreciated as a customer, and I made sure to take care of the staff because they truly took care of me.

I had breakfast there almost every single morning during my stay — unless I had an early appointment or training. If it was breakfast time, To Be Sweet was where I wanted to be.

Five stars without a doubt. Great people, great food, great experience. Thank you for making my mornings in Samui...

sorry for the pictures, we forgot to take when the food arrived 😆 We came on the peak hour so we have to wait a few minutes, but that's fine for us.

All the staff are super nice, friendly, have a good structured system, helpful, spoke well English and very nice service mind 10/10

our Latte comes with very good portion and taste, 10/10

I order Keto eggs Benedict with Salmon, I really love the combination and also comes with rocket salad (my favorite veggies) 10/10

my husband took Hungry man with fried eggs and sourdough everything good especially the hash brown, by far one of the best hash brown we ever had 10/10

atmosphere is very nice, next to the main road but surprisingly nice, chill, breeze, calm and quiet the way they decorate the place with lots of tree make it very enjoyable to eat. 10/10

for sure this will be our daily go to breakfast choice from now on til we leave Samui
