Tha Ruea Samui Seafood Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Samui

We were looking for somewhere to stop for a drink when we came across Tarua Seafood. We had not planned to eat but decided on sharing a half dozen oysters. They were plump and fresh and served with the usual Thai condiments when ordering oysters, simply delicious. The cost for six oysters was 480 baht. The highlight though was the wonderful view from our table overlooking the sea, just so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we even had a quick chat with the owner who seems a super nice guy. When we are back in Samui we promised ourselves to go back for an evening meal at Tarua and indulge in some of their other...

The food and service was good , But only one thing was a shame that the lobster costed 5000/kg,not the same as their menu(3000/kg),although the clerk had told us,but I truly suggest the restaurant should write on the menu because we didn’t see the price on it,so we didn’t know what’s the differences between these two prices. But the crab on the menu shows it. Anyway,the restaurant still have beautiful sea view...

Very nice restaurant with a nice view during daytime. The food took quite a lot of time to get delivered as a big group of people came in after us, so I think they took up all the resources in the kitchen. The fried seabass was very oily so I skipped it, the seafood fried rice was nice and tasty. Overall quite good, but I think this is a better restaurant for lunch given the view...
