Perfect Review for Silver Beach Resort

Our stay at Silver Beach Resort was truly delightful, and we are excited to share our experience.

Positives: The staff were exceptionally polite and incredibly accommodating. The receptionist made our stay unforgettable with their helpful advice and top-notch service. The team at the bar and service staff ensured we were always well taken care of. The rooms were spotless, with daily housekeeping keeping everything in perfect order.

Breakfast was included in the price, and we could choose between American, English, or Asian options. The quality was outstanding, with fresh and delicious ingredients that left us completely satisfied. Although we didn't try the lunch and snack options, the menu looked promising, offering dishes like burgers, club sandwiches, and salads. The bar remained open until late afternoon, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.

While the reception isn't open 24/7, a kind and helpful night guard was available for late check-ins, which we appreciated.

The pool, though small, is situated right in front of the beach, creating a serene and picturesque setting. There's also a massage area nearby for added relaxation. The beach itself is beautiful, but during our stay, it had constant waves, making swimming impossible. We were told this is unusual for December.

The resort also offers scooter rentals at very reasonable prices, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms: The resort features rooms scattered along the beachfront, with a charming garden and pathways in the middle. Rooms closer to the road are more budget-friendly, while those near the beach appear to offer more comfort.

We booked the last available room at the time, located midway between the beach and the road. While the room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, a spacious bathroom, and all basic amenities, it could benefit from aesthetic improvements. Small, cost-effective upgrades like bedside tables, reading lamps (as the overhead light was too harsh), a toothbrush holder, bedside outlets, and better-quality mattresses would make a significant difference. Other rooms in the front looked so much better inside. Like the ones you see in photos online.

Additionally, some maintenance of the building (at least in our room) is needed in the near future. Outside each room, there's a small terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the garden view.

Overall Experience: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this resort again. Next time, we’d likely opt for a room closer to the beach for more comfort and less road noise.

Ich möchte erwähnen, dass das ausdrücklich meine beziehungsweise unsere als Familie, Meinungen sind! Das ist nicht als Diffamierung oder Ähnliches zu werten, meine unsere persönlichen Meinungen. Zuerst einmal möchte ich sagen, dass das Hotel von der Lage her sehr, sehr schön liegt. (Resort) Aber, jetzt kommt das große, aber ab 9:00 Uhr beziehungsweise circa 9:30 Uhr kommt das große Rennen! Der Strand ist dermaßen überlaufen dann im Laufe der nächsten Stunden, das es genauso ist wie in Italien, Rimini oder Mallorca am Ballermann genauso voll ist es dann bis abends um 18 oder 19:00 Uhr am Strand. So ist der Stand, und wer was ANDRES sagt, lügt wir waren zwei Wochen in dem Resort. deswegen aus diesem Grunde Achtung, es wird ziemlich voll am Strand. nun über das Hotel beziehungsweise Resort.: das Resort ist in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war direkt hinter dem großen Zimmer mit der Fensterscheibe. Also eigentlich das zweite Zimmer auf der rechten Seite. Das Zimmer ist ebenfalls total in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten einen ganz schlechten Toilettenspülung. Das war Mega, Mega schlecht. Wenn man Angst hat, auf Toilette zu gehen und dort ein Geschäft zu machen, dass die Toilette jeden Moment verstopft, das macht mal überhaupt keinen Spaß! es hat dann auch irgendwie gehalten bis drei Tage vor Schluss. Dann mussten wir tatsächlich an der Rezeption melden, dass die Toilette verstopft ist, obwohl wir das Papier in den dazugehörigen Eimer warfen. natürlich musste eine Spitze Bemerkung der Landlord Lady kommen bezüglich wir hätten wohl zu viel Papier da rein geworfen! Achtung, in dem spartanischen Bad inklusive Dusche und Waschbecken, gab es nicht mal eine Lampe beziehungsweise ein Licht über dem Spiegel. Es gab nur ein Decken Licht. Der Kühlschrank, den wir Gott sei Dank hatten, hat auch schon die besten Jahre hinter sich und war von der Außentür und Scharniere total verrostet. Ablageflächen gibt es bisher also Bad und wenn man in den Wohnraum kommt, ganz wenige. ich empfehle jeden, der dort anreist genug Saugnäpfe für die Wand für den Spiegel für die Schränke beziehungsweise den Schrank mitzunehmen, so dass man überall Saugnäpfe als Kleiderhaken verwenden kann. Dann ist es ganz okay und man kann Sachen aufhängen. Ansonsten was das angeht totale tote Hose. da wir als Familie reiten und einen Sechsjährigen Sohn dabei hatten, hat der bei uns im Queen size Bett mit geschlafen. Denn ein Extra Bett wollte man uns gleich in Rechnung stellen. in der Summe kann ich sagen, wenn ich die Übernachtung alleine betrachte, ist das Maximum ein oder zwei Sterne wert auf keinen Fall mehr. Der Fernsehen war eigentlich auch nur Attrappe und hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Das ist noch zu erwähnen. Strom hatte er, aber das war es dann auch schon. zum Frühstück: hier gab es à la carte. Drei Gerichte. Continental asiatisch und amerikanisch. Das war’s für zwei Wochen haben wir natürlich jeden Tag da wir auch drei Leute waren immer wieder das gleiche bestellt wechselnd halt Kaffee oder Tee aber auch hier war uns das Gefühl gegeben, dass man sehr sehr geizig mit allem was man noch so ordert umgeht. Die Politik, die das Personal aufgetragen bekommt bloß keinen Deutsch zu viel rausgeben alles abrechnen. und zum Schluss kam dann der Mega Aufreger. Check out. Time ist 12:00 Uhr. Wir hatten einen Flug um 18:00 Uhr von Samui nach Bangkok. Man kam um 11:45 Uhr und hat uns quasi heraus werfen wollen. So etwas habe ich auch noch nicht erlebt. Nachdem wir gesagt haben wir bezahlen auch die 2 Stunden, welche wir länger bleiben möchten.! Jedoch mit der Landlord Lady ließ sich definitiv nicht reden. Die wollte das wir mit voller Montur mit voller Kleidung bei 33° in ihrem Café bleiben und uns tot schwitzen. Das haben wir natürlich nicht gemacht. Stattdessen rief man uns dann auf Wut ein Taxi. in der Sommer zum Hotel: ein sehr schönes Resort quasi gelegen landschaftlich sehr schön, jedoch sehr stark in die Jahre gekommen wirklich sehr stark. Zusammenfassung: sehr stark in die Jahre gekommen, ist Resort nur für kurze Zeit ein oder zwei Tage...

For the adventurous, snorkeling and canoeing beckon, while rock climbing adds a literal twist to the beach’s rocky relationship with visitors. Speaking of rocks, do mind your step; the beach enjoys playing a game of ‘find the toe’ with unwary wanderers.

Hungry? The restaurant serves up good food at prices that won’t have your wallet gasping for air. A word of caution though: the food sometimes likes to take its sweet time, perhaps soaking in the beach vibe before joining you at the table.

Family travelers, solo wanderers, and hostel enthusiasts will find a home here at Silver Beach. It’s a place that’s not in a rush, much like the occasional meal, and invites you to savor everything it offers.
