BALIBAR — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Fantastic spot! Best restaurant that I have found in 6 weeks of touring Thailand.

We ate here 3 times in our 5 nights in Krabi. Picked it off Google maps and are happy customers.

The "western" food would be fantastic at home or anywhere in the western world. Here it is stellar. So many places in Thailand struggle to execute any western dish... The flavors are right, the textures are right ..and the freshness and vibrancy of taste. I wish this place was in my neighborhood.

The Thai food is traditional Thai food, elevated. I am sad now thinking of all the Thai food that I ate thinking it was good. I'll never look at Pad Krapow the same.

Of special note are the house made sauces. Really next level.

I wish that I had taken pictures of the food the first times that we went here.

The atmosphere is chill af. Sturdy chairs, low tables, a few lounger tables. Some nets for laying in. A bar in the back for those that prefer.

The sunset never fails. Yes ofc some nights are better, however this is a sure thing.

Everything is spotless. Kitchen has a window so you can see the cleanliness and organization (unlike the place next door who's kitchen is in a shack across the road.

Not the cheapest place, however not unreasonable considering the quality. I think it's good value for what I get. All in all, fantastic. I wish this place was...

Jeez…What an absolute gem of a place, all-round! I was totally blown away with every aspect of Bali Bar. From the initial “wow factor” on arrival with its beautiful location on the beach and rustic yet clean and classy interior. I was greeted with big smiles and genuine warmth. It was like seeing old friends for the 1st time again in ages. Just lovely. I ordered a beer and browsed through the food menu with my mouth watering at all of the delicious sounding options. Even though they were busy, Joe the chef and his wife Maria, front of house, took their time with me to recommend some dishes and were very informative and knowledgeable about every aspect of the food. I went for the Tacos and OMG even while writing this I’m salivating. It was a definite 10/10! It’s wonderful when you see who passionate people are with their business to make sure you are getting VIP treatment. Very easy going and to talk with and always at hand, without being too much so. Without a question of doubt I will return and am looking forward to the Chinese night they have coming up next Saturday! Thank you so much again guys and I’ll do my best to pull out all the stops to make the event if I can I recommend anyone who is in the area to do so also, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. It’s a well deserved...

THE PEARL IN THE OYSTER THAT IS KLONG MUANG, KRABIE

Yet again, what a find! We just happened to be walking along Klong Muang beach from our accomodation and saw this impressive place above us so we had to go up for a look.

Nice, well kept modern seating areas mingle with open sided booths and the catch netting overhangs giving the venue a stylish atmosphere.

We had a couple of very enjoyable cool drinks before heading back but had already decided to return in the evening for another visit and we were so glad we did.

After sunset, which will be fantastic to watch from the seats, the whole place is carefully lit creating lots of nooks and it is all topped up by the big tree that, somehow, survives the sea water and is, itself, lit up.

We had a drink as we tried to plan the next step in out ThaiTour when Richard, the owner, came over to chat which led to a fantastic evening of conversation, drinks and food with Richard, his wife Dan and her friend Sherry.

What a place, what a great evening. It will stand out as the best bar we visited and the best evening of the tour. Thank...
