ร้านอาหารโรงช้าง กระบี่- Rong Chang — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We chanced upon this restaurant and the food would have been great had it not been for the disappointing behaviour of the proprietor and her staff. The staff member made a mistake in our drink order, refused to clarify on the choice of meat in one of our dishes and we were ignored 4 times when we asked for a glass. . She then called an older lady who clarified but then proceeded to use her 2 index fingers to circle around her head indicating we were crazy. We were very polite to them from the start. Following that these people began to tell other customers abt her version of events and everyone began staring. So yes, quite unpleasant and it was a ruined meal. Never coming back. Not kid friendly as there were no baby...

I am totally dissapointed, because we were here at lunch, 6 people, made order and 2 of us became totally different meal. But we said to ourselfs, its okey, bcs it could happened, right? So we were there for dinner, made order again....and every one of us got correct meal...but...but again one meal was totaly completely different. Its like they have menu, you choose some meal, they write it to theirs block and then, in kitchen just push some button of random generator maschine and make you different meal. And thats not how it works...

Nice spot! The rice sets are very affordable, more affordable than the individual dishes. They have Thai cuisine from different parts of Thailand so there's quite a large range to choose from. Staff are very smiley and hospitable. The seafood with boiled rice that we got was also delicious. Portion and ingredients were generous. It was really a good idea to stay a couple of days at klong mueng as the food here really does taste better and is priced more reasonably...
