The Best Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

We are so happy we managed to find this restaurant close to where we were staying at the Dusit Thani down the road. We googled search best restaurants in the area and thought the name may have been misleading but infact they deserve the title because the food was the best we ate in Krabi lots of flavour and just tasty. We particularly enjoyed the warm mango sticky rice, chicken massaman curry, fried seabass fish with celery. The staff are super friendly and helpful!! We also booked a boat tour with them which was very good price for a private VIP long tail boat which picked us up at the airport and took us to the Hong Islands and returned us on the beach at our hotel. Hands down a top restaurant in the Krabi area. Family-run and pretty low key and the food absolutely hits. It was just about next door from where we stayed for a few nights and despite eating other places, nothing topped this place when it came to the deliciousness of the meals. Had everything from fried fish to cashew chicken to yogurt fruit smoothies and mango sticky rice. I’d say step out of a comfort zone and get a fried fish dish. After eating twice here, it was the best thing we had on the menu. Add in that it’s walking distance to the beach, you can combine sunset and this place or use it as a lunch or post sunset spot. What a lovely find. Stumbled upon the restaurant after a relaxing beach day in Klong Muang. We were supposed to head back to Ao Nang for a late lunch and aren’t we glad we didn’t.

We’ve been food hopping for the last week in Krabi and I think this place is what sealed the Thai food fixation we had throughout the week. The dishes were very well made and will give you a sense of home cooked food from grandma or something… and we’ve never been to Thailand before this. Haha.

The staff were all smiles and ready to help at all times. They each came across being happy with what they do and we definitely felt welcome in their dainty little space in the middle of (almost) nowhere.
