Boogie bay bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

I will start by saying that this is the first very very bad review I am giving to a place in Thailand. Why is that? Because of the owner, specifically for the female owner of this place. The context was: We went there in the evening, had a very nice dinner, the food is super good and overall the experience was pleasant. Therefore, we decided to book a double sun bed for the next day, all day. Next day we arrived, had with us a bottle of water from the room, and two half’s of orange juice leftovers from the breakfast. After a few back and forth to the room (always forgetting something 😬) I arrived here to find my fiancé being yelled at by what it seemed to be the partner of the owner. Why? Because he decided for that moment to order only a bottle of water, adding the fact that we will spend all day there, hence we will order food and drinks and spend money, so no need to be afraid that we came only to occupy the space and not spend money. We understand how a business works, and tried to explain this to both of them. Unfortunately, no one listened, they started yelling at us, forcing us to order, therefore we immediately decided to leave and find a nicer place where we can spend a day at the beach. They acted very very unfriendly and unprofessional for the prices they have, and overall I still cannot believe that we found this type of people here of all places. I don’t not recommend this place whatsoever, regardless of whatever they have to offer. They are not good people! I wish for them the best of luck and enough inspiration to change their behavior for the future if they want to have a profitable...

Great rasta bar, good resident rasta band most nights. 100 baht cocktails 5-7pm, smoke friendly if that's your thing. Beautiful sunsets from here. No food but you can get takeaway from Sompong (best Thai food on Lanta) on main road just 2 minutes walk away and bring here. Really loved Asylum, my room was literally a 2 second walk from the beach, really chilled out reggae bar, local band plays every night, reasonable prices, the owner Mae is really friendly and knowledgeable of the local area, if you are looking to rent a bike which I would highly recommend ask Mae which shop to go to and she will be able to get you a discount!
