Takola Restaurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Overall pleasant experience. The lady working here fetched an extension lead to enable the fan to come closer to our table which was very kind, thank you!

I ordered stirfry pork with lemongrass sauce (160thb) but I think that the “with lemongrass salt” dish came in-stead since there was no sauce, but I wasn’t mad because it tasted really good! We also got the Southern-style sour spice flavored curry with catfish/veg (160thb) which was flavoursome (was expecting the “curry” component to be less liquidy, it was similar to Tom Yum soup) but the fish still had bones which took away from the dish since you couldn’t just eat without having to think about it too much…we got 2x water and 2x rice with these dishes and the total came to 350thb which was great.

We honestly found this place through TripAdvisor and the reviews gave it a flowing recommendation. My experience was no different

The ambiance is pretty nice- you have Chinese lanterns in a cosy outdoor seating. The food is also pretty great. Try the Thai green curry with chicken/seafood or lemongrass fish.
