I have stayed here for two nights, I wish it could have been longer. I arrived later than planned due to a flight delay and everything was fine with the owner. They arranged for a car to pick me up from the airport which was very smooth and a very reasonable rate charged! The room was perfect, comfy bed, hot shower, nice furniture and little touches like the flowers on the shelves were really nice. The hotel is really clean, and you could smell that it was clean, I know this sounds odd but it was nice and fragrant. There was a free breakfast of toast and cereal and bananas and drinks, which was really unexpected and such a nice thing! I had to check out early on my last day and even though breakfast is 6am he said he would open at 4.30 for me! I didn't need it this early (6am was fine for me) but thought it was such a lovely gesture! Thank you so much for all the effort you have put into this guesthouse. It really was a lovely stay here. There are some nice restaurants down the road and a familymart shop a...
Read moreIt was truly a pleasure to stay at Pro Chill Guesthouse, so much so we stayed an extra night. The owners organised a scooter for us with a trustworthy shop in town for a good price of 250 baht per day. Deposit is passport but that is normal. Laundry is super cheap here, 50 baht per load. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy. The only recommendation I would give for improvement is a larger blanket, or replace blanket with a duvet on the bed - I found myself wrestling with my better half for the blanket in the night, which meant I had minimal cover. The shower is hot and the air conditioning works well. One thing to note is the location, it would probably take approx 30-45 mins to walk to the main town, however this never bothered us as we always rode our motorbike. But on the other hand there are some great local Thai restaurants which are so cheap and you won't find anything like them in the main town. 100%...
Read moreWe booked it last minute and we couldn’t be more happily surprised. The room was big, clean and comfy with airco. The owners are very nice and helpfull. Everythig is taken care of. You can book tours or rent a motorbike through them. It might be a little outside of the center but the Tiger Cave Temple and the famous hiking trail Khao Ngon Nak (towards the breath taking view and the vertical cliff rock) is quite close by. Besides some little spider there were no other insects like mosquitos in the room. For 50 Baht they do your laundry as well. In summary; a perfect place to stay in a quiet place around the locals for a...
