Read moreMy expectations were high for this place but just another disappointment. If Hario Cafe would like to improve, here is my feedback.
Know your products. I contacted the staff in advance and asked for a specific product. They said it was in stock and gave me the price. When I arrived they didn’t have the product and the price they quoted me was for a different model.
Nothing was offered to compensate me for the cost and time it took me to go there. A coffee or even a discount on one would have been enough to save your reputation. All I got was a sorry.
I did stay for a coffee and croissant. The coffee wasn’t bad and reasonably priced at 85฿. But it was a little under extracted in my opinion.
The croissant wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was reasonably priced at 50฿.
They do have the best selection of Hario products that I’ve seen in Thailand, and this was the reason for my visit. I’m just very disappointed that they didn’t have the product I was seeking.
For a major brand like Hario I’m surprised they chose this as their location in Bangkok. It’s out of the way and just doesn’t make sense to me.

Despite the amount of staff, you'd expect them to be able to handle 2 cups of coffee and heat up a croissant. Don't waste your money, go to 7/11 instead for a coffee.
The place was virtually empty, with about 4/5 customers me and my partner included, with about 8 staff members behind the counter. The person serving us seemed impatient to explain about the difference coffee beans, methods and techniques. With prices ranging from 80b - 350b I expect them to take time and be really thorough, as I assumed this was part of the slow-bar experience. Ended up order 2 coffees, hot and iced americano and a croissant.
We found a table, the place was empty so lots of choose from and waited for our coffees to arrive with the heated pastry. About 5 minutes later, the barista call my partner over, 1 hot coffee was done. She went to collect it herself from the bar area. No signs of the other cup anywhere. Waited a few minutes later then reminded the staff about the other cup. Seemed they had forgotten about it and...
