Khaotha Coffee / Roastered Pai — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

I stopped by this café and was pleasantly surprised by how good the espresso was — smooth and well-balanced. On the other hand, the lychee soda didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

One of the highlights was the adorable dog at the café, along with a few other friendly animals around. It definitely added a charming, homey touch.

However, when I sat outside, there were way too many small bugs, which made it hard to relax and enjoy my drink. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, but the prices felt a bit high for Pai.

Awesome coffee shop! We loved this place and visited each morning whilst staying nearby. The coffee is superb, always served with complimentary green tea, and the dogs are adorable! Staff always greeted us with a welcoming smile. The decor of the place is eclectic with a new experiment around every corner! We could've spent days here marvelling at the items on display. Shout out to the turtle! On the last day I tried the fruit salad with honey and yoghurt which was sublime. Lots of seating here and we saw people working on laptops too. It's a non-smoking...

Big wow to this small local cafe we discovered - lives up to the hype. Cheap coffee and done real well - had flat white and they even have wide options for non-dairy milk, including pistachio milk. They also let you choose what kind of roast you want for your coffee. The ambiance is like a garage turned into cafe, but it’s peaceful and quiet. There’s spaces to work also and the WiFi is workable.
