Go Heng Cafe by Boomelicious — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

Our first choice for breakfast was not open, and we stumbled across this restaurant down the road. We are glad we did. I do not understand why this cafe does not have 5* total review rating because the food is excellent. I had the muesli bowl which was the best I’ve had anywhere. My partner had the pesto eggs, and after trying it I was jealous 🤣

So I came back this morning and had the pesto eggs which was one of the best non-fruit breakfasts I’ve had in Asia. The coffee is also really nice here , and the staff speak good English and are super welcoming.

Nice location and small outside dining area. The food was really nice and so was the coffee and the smoothie we got. The let down was firstly the staff. All seemed very miserable and didn't really want to look at us. Secondly was the wait times. It took a good amount of time before we could get a menu and took at least 20 minutes to order. We tried to get up to order but he told us he would come. The food took over 20 minutes and the drinks came after the food had arrived. The price was quite high too. Very overpriced and far from fresh. Ordered the eggs Benedict and the avocado chicken salad. The salad was made up of tomatoes with black spots on them, very old blackened avocado, and old hard chicken. The sauce wasn’t good either. And all this for 140 baht. The eggs Benedict was mediocre, not worth the price. The cappuccino shake was also covered in a chocolate syrup that tasted funny.
