I came super excited because of all the great reviews... my experience wasn’t as good as expected (maybe had too high expectations 😅) Service and food was pretty slow (waited over 30 min for my meal) and had to ask for the free fruit salad, which they advertise in their front sign. They offered a little smoothie instead (for which had to wait for another while longer). Freebies are always appreciated but I don’t think it’s a good business model to offer something to attract clients and make them feel like they are asking you for a favor to get it.
I got an Indian yellow curry which wasn’t a big portion nor super tasty. For 50 baht It was ok but nothing better than what I’d find elsewhere.
They do offer bamboo cups and straws for the water but the smoothie came with a plastic straw (which to me made zero sense if they are really trying to reduce plastic consumption)
The service wasn’t as friendly as I had hoped (maybe they were all having a bad day, who...
Read moreHighly suggest this place! It's really a hidden treasure. Okay where to start!! First off, I have celiac disease. Travelling Southeast Asia while being gluten free is anything but easy. It's hard! When you struggle to find food for days or weeks or maybe even a while trip, when you do finally find GF options and great people it's a beautiful thing. The workers here are marvellous. They all went above and beyond to help me. Creating some of the best food I've ever had! SUPER YUMMY! They also give you either a free fruit slush or a generous portion of fruit salad. Along with water! Really affordable prices. There's vegan options, and GF (if asked and explained). There's something for everyone. Gosh. I really miss the staff here, not gonna lie. I went here 3 days in a row and each day one of the men working knew my order and had one of the most contagious smiles!! Will absolutely be coming back here. Please do the same! You...
Read moreCame here for lunch after arriving from Chiang Mai, and I am so happy we found this spot! I'm not familiar with Myanmar food, but this is the best meal I had so far since arriving to Thailand 5 days ago! My favorite was the beef curry, my boyfriend loves the Ali Po! We also got the Muanmar Salad all the dishes were recommended by the owner and I'm so glad we followed his recommendations. I would totally come back if I was staying in Pai longer.
Almost forgot to mention they give a free fruit salad and all the fruits were super fresh! He said the mango and papaya were frmm his own farm! I was full and still finished all the fruits!
Lastly, I didn't realize till the end but they covered our bikes and when we arrived they made sure the fan was facing us. This place deserves more than 5 stars! Rarely ever encounter a place with good food and good...
