We gave this a try during a recent Bangkok trip, here's what we noticed:
• Firstly, the service is quite bad. We mentioned our dietary restrictions to the waiter (Jain Food), and he told us that it would be possible to make it. After taking the order, he came back again to say that it will not be possible. So, we had to brainstorm all over again, to see what we can order and what is possible for Jain food options. It seemed that there is plenty of confusion, lack of clarity and lack of communication between the waiters and the cooking team. For this goof-up, nobody even bothered to come to us to apologise.
• Ambience is very good.
• Food Quantity is slightly less for the price that they are charging. Food quality and taste is just about ok (not too amazing, not too bad either).
• Pricing is on the higher side.
Conclusion: When Indian tourists look for an Indian restaurant, they are not merely looking for Ambience. The first and foremost requirement is that they should get good Indian food at good prices.
There are many other restaurants in the same area, whose ambience may not be as good as this restaurant, but their food quantity, quality and pricing is much better than this restaurant.
So, we suggest you can skip this one, save your money and make a move to other reasonably-priced Indian restaurants...

It doesnt even taste like indian food, nevertheless any type of food at all. It is completely bland and devoid of Indian flavor. The curries are extra greasy. The sev puri was only stuffed with sev and had no masala flavoring at all, like eating a flavorless ball of rocky sand. I could continue describing these bland items but I'll spare your imagination with just a summary.
We tried - dosa, chutney, paneer butter masala, jeera rice, pav bjaji, sev puri, dal tadka, rasam, etc. Sad to say not a single item was good, and everyone in my group thought the same.
Service was fnot great either. They are very slow to bringout items compare to other nearby places. We went at 3pm so there were only a few tables. By the time my order arrived, half of our group had already finished their meal making it a very annoying dining experience.
Again, not sure how this place has such high reviews. It was so bad that we suspected review manipulation going on here. After trying a good range of items here, I would definitely recommend you to go somewhere else. I plan to try...

Its masala tea is very good. If I compare with other restaurants, it’s Veg north Thali (limited items) is very large and quantity of items is more than sufficient. Two persons can easily share one thali. We also tried mixed pakora which was delicious. We were served by 3 young cute Myanmar girl employees with smile. We were surprised by their fluent Hindi, actually owner is also an Indian. It is paradise for veg/ Jain...
